  Our family purchased four gravesites at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in 2019. Two burials, that of parents, have already taken place. The other two were reserved for their daughter and her husband. In late 2021 we discovered a fresh grave being dug in one of the remaining plots. We immediately informed the cemetery caretaker who blamed the mistake on the local funeral home. She had time to contact the funeral home to simply move the grave over, but instead took no action and allowed the burial to take place. Now there is not enough room to bury both the daughter and her husband next to the parents. At this point it appears our only recourse is to contact an attorney to sue for breach of contract. Pleasant Grove Cemetery is peaceful and beautiful but unfortunately it has a caretaker in charge who cares not.
